Tudor Flintham Named Head Men’s Footballing Coach At Gustavus Adolphus College


ST. PETER, Minn. C Tudor Flintham has been named the actual top men’s soccer coach from Gustavus Adolphus College, which was announced Monday by Athletics Director Mary Brown. Flintham most recently completed her third season as the scalp men’s and women’s soccer coach in Nebraska Wesleyan University.

“Tudor is a detail-oriented person and has now his priorities set on any well-being of the student-athletes,” Brown said. “He or she wants to create the best encounter for his student-athletes. With a robust background in the MIAC and Minnesota ties, I’m excited for he can bring to the Gustavus community.”

At Nebraska Wesleyan, Flintham guided the men’s and women’s applications to a combined 49 is victorious in his three seasons, which include 33 shutouts. Last season the lads went 11-7-1 overall and picked up their first playoff game in 20 years. In the past three years, Flintham?has continued to develop one professional player, only two CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 18 All-IIAC, and six All-GPAC participants.

Prior to his time during Nebraska Wesleyan, Flintham was the associate mind soccer coach at St . John’s University from 2010-14. Actually is well liked served as an assistant on the College of Saint Benedict through 2012-14. From 2008-10, Flintham was head coach at both Valley Catholic School in Beaverton, Ore. and the F.T. Portland Soccer Academy with Hillsboro, Ore.

Flintham earned his bachelor’s stage from Saint John’s with 2006. He was a three-year commencing forward for the Johnnies, playing around 65 games from 2002-05 utilizing 21 goals and Twenty assists for 61 items. Flintham was an All-Region selection when earning MIAC All-Conference and Academic All-Conference with 2005. His senior twelve months, Flintham captained the team to the conference playoff great.

In Flintham received a master’s stage in sports management via St. Cloud State College or university. He holds a F ree p.A. Level One Instruction License, National Exercise Trainers Association Certification, and a USSF Nation’s C Coaching License.

Flintham becomes the 9th head coach in the good Gustavus men’s soccer. Since the software began in 1967, any Gusties have amassed an all-time document of 517-220-104 and have gone 312-122-74 while in the MIAC. Gustavus leads the MIAC with 18 conference championships and six playoff brands.
