Deja Vu, Men’s Hockey Ties Aurora 3-3

GENEVA, Ill. C It was dj vu all over to the Gustavus men’s hockey team mainly because it tied Aurora 3-3 in overtime for any second straight game Wednesday. The Gusties never trailed in the sweepstakes, but an Aurora goal nearly through the third period turned out to be the equalizer and neither team was able to find the back of the net the rest of the means. Gustavus moves to 6-4-3, while the Spartans turn to 2-7-4.

Colin Hernon put the Gusties up 1-0 with just Fifty nine seconds remaining in the first interval with the help of Colton Schmidt and the visitors placed a one-goal advantage at the primary intermission.

Aurora tied the game 4:Twenty nine into the second with a strength play goal, but the Gusties gotten the lead five minutes later on an electrical play goal of their own. Van Sullivan scored his second goal of the actual series and team-leading fifth of this year, assisted by Will LeNeave and Jared Bromberg .
