HAUGHTON – The Minden Yellow Tide played their best bet on the season Thursday night next to Haughton on their home floor, downing the Bucs 55-39 thanks to solid zone defense and a sharp-shooting offense brought about by sophomore Curtis Carter.
Carter scored 12-15 of his 19 points from behind the arc inside the second half to propel Minden recent Haughton. He got great help from various teammates, most notably Zion Crawford with 14 factors and big man Dallas Edwards using 7.

Minden Woman Tiders vs. Northwood Lady Falcons
The Minden Lady Tiders continued their fast start to the time of year, blowing the doors off of yet another opponent, this time, centre foe Northwood by a score regarding 69-28.

Rodgers encouraged Minden with 11 points on the night, followed by Derrica Gilbert using 9 points; Strawberry Batton as well as Tayler Banks each added Seven points.
