Men’s And Women’s Footballing Earn NSCAA Academic Award


KANSAS CITY, Mo. C For their royal academic work during the 2015-16 scholastic year, the Gustavus men’s and women’s soccer teams have earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Academics Award.

The Gusties received recognition once qualifying with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher for that academic year. The team Grade point average is determined by the addition of every company member’s GPA, then dividing from the number of players.

Men’s Soccer Head Coach Mike Middleton’s squad received a team GPA of 3.2007, while Laura Burnett-Kurie’s women’s team held a team GPA of 3.Fifty one.
