SUMMERFIELD – In what was an action-packed saturday on the hardcourt, the Minden Crimson Tide came away with a win from the Homer Pelicans on a neutral court Saturday.
The Crimson Tide just didn’t shoot particularly well, neglecting to hit a 3-pointer on the overnight, but they clamped down defensively and rebounded well, as Minden ended some sort of 3-game losing skid with a 46-42 victory through Homer.
“I think it was initially I’ve coached in a online game where my side just didn’t hit a single 3-pointer,” Minden young boys head coach Rennie Bailey said. “That’s not saying we didn’t take any.”
