Knights wrap up regular months with victories

SPRINGHILL C The North Webster Knights rolled over Loyola on senior night driving an impressive effort from a set of right arms.

Logan Vidrine and Connor McClure joined together to limit Loyola to three visits. Meanwhile, the Knights got RBIs from a Patrick Modisette single, a good Kade Garmany sacrifice bunt, a steal for home by Riley Orr and another solo off the bat of Daniel Lewis.

Vidrine was initially the winning pitcher, striking out six batters with three innings of work.

McClure struck outside three in four innings.

MONROE C The Knights tallied 13 hits in a blowout wow Claiborne Christian Saturday afternoon.

North Webster wraps up the regular season at 22-6.

Blake Atchley experienced a pair of doubles and An individual RBI, Riley Orr singled and drove in two extends and Connor McClure added an RBI solo. Hayden Corbell, Kade Garmany and Clay Mahaffey each experienced two singles for the Knights.

Orr was phenomenal on the clump in a complete game, one-hit shutout. Orr reach out nine batters and walked two.

The Knights may enter the Class 3A playoffs as the No. 7 seed the place they will play host to help Patterson Tuesday in Springhill.
