Lakeside sweeps Red River on more mature day to finish regular time

SIBLEY C The Lakeside Warriors finished off any whirlwind regular season by way of sweeping Red River at home for senior day Weekend.

Lakeside took care of business in a big way within game one, topping the visiting Bulldogs by a score involving 21-1.

The Warriors were led when you’re at bat by senior Josh Prince who finished 4-5 with four personals and 5 RBIs. Brayden Jones stood a big day as well, going 2-4 by using a pair of doubles and Four RBIs, followed by Tanner Page who proceeded to go 2-5 with a single, double 3 RBIs.

Junior Jake Gray went 2-3 by using a pair of singles and 2 RBIs, Dalton Crumpler has a two RBI single and Colton Northern nevada, Jayke Stewart and Gavin Jones added RBI single men and women to the Lakeside attack.

Brayden Jones began on the mound for the A warrior and went two innings to help earn the win. Jones hit out five batters as well as allowed one hit. Tanner Website fired two scoreless innings in help, striking out five players and Jake Gray tossed one scoreless frame to close from the game.

Lakeside wasted no time which makes it a sweep of Crimson River, hanging 16 relies on a Bulldogs in a convincing game 2 win.

The Warriors sent Josh Royal prince to the mound in game two and he delivered three innings, striking out eight players and walking one in addition to allowing one run. Colton Jackson finished the final two innings, striking out three batters plus keeping the Bulldogs off the scoreboard.

Logan McIver and also Colton Reno each went 3-3 along with three singles and 3 RBIs to lead the Lakeside lineup. Tanner Page experienced a pair of singles and 2 RBIs, with Jake Gray with a twice, single and RBI, Colton Carter which includes a 2-RBI single and Josh Prince that has a double and single.

Lakeside wraps up their regular season with a track record of 12-12 and will enter the School 2A playoffs as the No. 35 seed.

The Warriors will journey to face Opelousas Catholic Tuesday at Five:30 p.m. for just a spot in the second rounded.
